Brandon Amphitheater
The Brandon Amphitheater, located near downtown Brandon, is the centerpiece of The Quarry, a 250-acre park featuring running, biking and nature trails, a dog park, a new baseball park facility and other outdoor amenities. Since the grand opening in 2018, it has hosted names such as Chris Stapleton, Zac Brown, Santana, Dave Matthews Band and Kenny Chesney. Capital City Beverages has been a proud partner since day one! We look forward to many more great years and great tunes with this incredible outdoor music venue.
Hal's St. Paddy's Day Parade & Festival
What started as an Irish Pub Crawl in downtown Jackson around the mid-80's has now become the single largest day event in Jackson. We've had the pleasure of growing with this St. Patrick's holiday event since the very first parade! Since inception, the event has added a full marathon, children's festival, pet parade, and huge block "After Party" of which CCB title sponsors. We love to see our community come together and support this 40-year tradition benefitting the Children's of Mississippi Hospital!
Que on the Yazoo
Held the last weekend in the spring, Que on the Yazoo is hosted in historic downtown Greenwood on the banks of the Yazoo River which celebrates a unique culinary heritage. This sanctioned Memphis BBQ Network competition features live music and activities for BBQ enthusiasts of all ages throughout the weekend. BBQ and beer, should we say more? 2024 will mark Cap City's 8th year as a sponsor of this great event.
Pearl River Clean Sweep
Since 2018 we have been partnering with our local Waterkeeper to help clean 490 miles of the Pearl River stretching over 15 counties, two parishes and two states. After being involved as a River supporter the first few years, we have recently doubled down, becoming a Watershed Supporter. We look forward to getting out in September to help capture and bag types of plastics, cans, old netting, and even some things that may surprise you! We would say we are making a difference! In 2023, we collected 12,700 pounds of trash vs. over 30,000 pounds in 2018. FUN FACTS!
Krewe De Roux Parade & Gumbo Cookoff
A NEW event partnering with the Rankin Chamber for Krewe de Roux, and we love it! If you haven't seen the Mardi Gras parade Gumbo cookoff that they put on, please join us in 2025! This event brings the local and surrounding community out on a Friday night in full force for a first-class Mardi Gras parade that's UBER family-friendly. On Saturday, the smell of gumbo flows across the Brandon Amphitheater while patrons make the rounds sampling and voting for their favorite team. Come see us next year at our tent, Krewe de Brew, to say hello to Team CCB and sample our amazing gumbo! We might even give you a beer!
