Our Story

1941

Salvador J. Bertucci opened S.J. Bertucci Co. in Jackson, Mississippi, distributing 20 Grand Ale to central Mississippi.
1946

S.J. Bertucci’s son, Frank Bertucci, joined the company and remained actively involved in the business until his passing in 2009.
1951

The company’s name was changed to Capital City Beverages.
1970

As the years passed, the third generation of the family joined the business as S.J’s grandsons, Frank Drennan, Frank Bertucci, and Paul Bertucci, joined the distributorship.
2008

The fourth generation of the family joined the distributorship when Brian Drennan joined the company.
TODAY

Capital City Beverages now operates out of offices in Jackson and Greenwood, Mississippi, servicing over 1,500 customers in eighteen Mississippi counties, covering a geography of nearly 10,000 square miles and more than 785,000 people.
